The new Korg LP-380 digital piano is built with a slim profile design that will greatly enhance your home or music studio, not only with its deeply expressive, acoustic piano-like sound, but also with its beautiful and stylish appearance. The LP-380 has been designed to visually complement practically any living space. Korg's latest digital piano is less than 11 inches in depth, making it both space-saving and efficient. When you are finished playing it, the soft-closing keyboard cover leaves a smooth, flat top with absolutely no protruding hinges, allowing the LP-380 to blend in with your interior and become part of your room's decor.
The 88 key LP-380 provides accurate and robust playing performance, including a grand-touch, action keyboard, three pedals, and a powerful speaker system which delivers a rich, authentic piano sound. The sound of the LP-380 have been meticulously sampled — in stereo — directly from a concert grand piano to ensure a lavishly resonant tone. The samples were captured at multiple velocity levels, so subtle variations in music expression will be naturally reflected in the piano sound you hear. The LP-380 digital piano also includes a rich variety of thirty different sounds, including Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Church Organ, Jazz Organ, Vibraphone, Marimba, Strings, Acoustic Guitar, and more.
In addition, the Layer Mode feature allows two sounds to be played simultaneously with the balance between the two sounds also being adjustable. It also features a Partner Mode that divides the keyboard into left and right regions so that two people can play the same range of pitches at the same time. The LP-380 has been designed with Korg's finest piano action touch and feel, using their RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer Action 3) technology to more closely resemble that of an acoustic piano.
Just as on a traditional grand piano, the keyboard provides a heavier playing touch in the lower register, becoming progressively lighter towards the upper keys. Refinements designed for capturing rapidly repeated key strikes ensure that your expressive music abilities will not be impaired even while playing fast passages. There are three levels of touch sensitivity available using the Key Touch Control function, that allow you to customize the dynamic response to your own playing preference.
In consideration of the user's possible need to move or relocate the instrument later on, the LP-380 weighs in at a modest 37 kg / 81.57 lbs (including the Stand), making it easier to move or transport. The Korg LP-380 has been made available in two different colors - black or white - to more easily match the interior color scheme of your room.
